It's a worm and what kind of worm! A Razorworm! Looks like the evil stepchild of Skarath and Pyg Byrrowers. I am guessing on the following rules from those two models:
Critical Consume - On a critical hit, if the attack hit a small-based non-warlock/warcaster model the model hit is removed from play.
Tunneling (Order) - Before this unitʼs normal movement, replace the unit commander with the tunneling marker, then remove the remaining models in this unit from the table. Remove those that were not in formation from play. Effects on models in this unit expire. Then move the tunneling marker up to 5". During your next Maintenance Phase, place models in this unit within 5" of the tunneling marker and remove it from the table. Models that cannot be placed are removed from play. This unit cannot receive the Tunneling order if it received it during its last activation.

On the picture it looks like a large base (not sure). So I am guessing it will have one attack, something like the one Skarath has:
Bite [1x] (Head) POW: 6 P+S: 16
Reach
Critical Consume

Maybe it has another attack from the "piercing spikes". If the big horn has an in game function, I do not know, it would be cool, but maybe it is just being used to decorate the tunneling marker. The animus might also have something to do with the "piercing spikes" but that is just a very wild guess. Really looking forward to the rules on this little beast.

So I took a WM/H break, why? I got demotivated by the constantly changing rules. But now the "final" version of the field test was released, I was happy and tried them in my local gaming group yesterday. I had a game with epic Morghoul and liked it.

Now I am motivated enough to go to a tournament in 10 days. I already know my first list, but I am still breaking my brains about a nice anti warmachine list, which will also work nicely versus shooty hordes.

Fighting for coin or just to stay alive, all the minions (and merc) I own for my Skorne army.

Swamp gobbers, the only one point option in our army list, with the new rules unable to hide behind their own cloud, which lost the -2 Mat. Still useful to keep your stuff hidden for one more round.
Orin Midwinter, not very much changed, to antimagic aura is very nice, but I usually end up to low on points to include fun solo's like him.
The Feralgeist has been unnerfed and nerfed at the same time. You will get an activation, but he will only go into enemy beasts. Only the though of having him in something like Typhon will make you very happy.
Wrong eye and Snapjaw are a fun team, the influence on wrong eye is very nice, gives him something to spend his fury on, as long as it does not have to much defense. Snapjaw's animus is a classic. Abuse not working on them anymore is a loss to me. Have to try them out to see how I really think about them.
Rorsh & Brine, or smart pig and monster pig, what else do you want? The diversionary tactics is still there and Brine got two extra attacks, not finally his animus has a use. Painresponse got a little bit worse, same goes for pigheaded. Have to try them out to see how I really think about them.

These are all the minions I have, but more might come in the near future, especially if you can make gator and farrow armies then.

To weak to be a warcaster or real beast, to egocentric to be in an unit, most of them just plain wierd, the Skorne solos!

Ancestral Guardian, our primal solo and the only which I own a pair, got nerved hard in the fieldtest. He was very good in mark 1, but is he still worth his 3 points compared to the other solo's, which are all 2 points. Having a mat 8 model which is able to boost to hit is nice and he still is hard to kill, but that is about all.
Void Spirit, like him, the eruption of ash is so cool. Of course auto include with Mordikaar.
Soulward, still very nice, the boostable zap can be useful, but needing souls to get eyeless sight is sometimes annoying, you'll have to wait till your opponent gets around to kill something.
Master Tormentor. She brings the pain, the mat boost for the bloodrunners is very welcome.
The Agonizer is something I never got working in the previous mark, he didn't change that much, maybe time to get to know this little bugger better.

Loved and hated, without further introduction, the Skorne infantry!

Arcuarii, nice unit for its cost. Plays well with a lot of our casters Mordikaar for the boosted attacks, makeda for the 5" extra move, Xerxis for the 5d6 charge, etc. Less fragile because of the 8 hitpoints they now have and the drag can be really helpful from time to time.
Cetrati, hard hard unit to kill, but look at the cost! In mark 2 they also hit harder.
Karax, see my previous post.
Swordsmen, good for their cheap points, with added UA their are a lot of plinging katana's coming your way!
Paingivers, a little bit nerved, but still healing beasts and managing fury is very nice, not to forgot the added strenght?
Out little construct unit, the immortals, I love them, I do like vengeance a lot is really, P+S is a sweet spot, they move a little slow, but a very good second wave, for the moment your opponent has lost the ability to wipe units in one turn. Filling mine up to 10 is high on my wish list.
Ferox, sounds like a glass cannon to me. Fast, very fast with makeda, but fragile and not hitting very hard. I have not tried them, being restrained by the massive point cost.
Bloodrunners, cleaning up your single wound infantry since 2009.
Venators, paying a lot of points for some weak attacks, might be dangerous in the wrong (or right) hands. Didn't get them working in mk1, might give them a serious try with mk2 soon.
The catapult, has a hard time hitting stuff, good to clean up massed enemy infantry if you're lucky.

Krea, don't really know if I still like her. I have to admit she was way to good in mk1. The paralysis sounds like fun.
Drake, like him, with the new spray rules and his animus, although very situational, still very nice.
Savage, good old one eye.
Brute, well executed model rule wise. The no knock down can be very useful in a lot of situations and he is really though.
Shaman, don't own one, but on my wish list. Like his tricks.

Part two of this little set of posts, I hope you like these brain dumps.

Gladiator, yes! Finally a reason to get this beasty out of the cabinet and into action. His stats are fine for his price, his animus is very nice to get this 2" more or pathfinder. I even have used rush (one from the gladiator, two from the warcaster) on arcuarii to get them into combat though terrrain. And then there is the elephant brawler look on him.
Cannoneer, my staple warbeast for mark 1, still very nice in mark 2, especially when helped by Rush. Still good in combat because of his head attack. His animus got a little bit weakish.
Karn, hardly played in mk1, still waiting for paint. All I can see for now is that I find the 11 points a bit steep when we get a good combat beast for 8 points.
Bronzeback, I dont own one, looks like has an unit of infantry for dinner and then a warcaster as desert.
Rhinodon, have to think about him more, for now I think about him as the weaker version of the gladiator with a weaker animus.

Also using this little serie of post to put my own thoughts in order. I only have about 7 games in on mk2, but this is my feeling about the warcasters.

I see both morghouls are a bit bland. They still have a nice bunch of abilities, but still feel a bit boring compared to what other factions have. I have the feeling they can be fun and powerful when you get the grips of their tricks (especially the assassination runs, normal morgs no overloading powerfields/transfers, epic blinding and slaying.
Normal makeda falls in the same category, she used to be one of my favorites in mk1 and she has hardly changed, I somehow lost the affection I once had for her. This might be caused by the nerf bat hitting on the stuff I liked to play with her (guardians, krea's and ferox). Although when you play her now, she feels the same, which I think I will like in the long run.
Epic makeda, never played her in mk1, I really like that they did something to make her (feat) a lot more different from the non epic version.
Hexeris, well, hard to say without trying, a lot has changed, I do still dislike the feat, but like his new spells.
Xerxis is the bad ass beatstick in the Skorne neighbourhood. I like the tweaks to his feat, his spells, the fact he got some of the tyrant abilities (he is a tyrant after all). Played a few games with him and he feels like I think he should have been when he was launched (did not really like him in mk1).
Zaal, on paper, looks like he lost it. AG's nerved, spells nerved, but I am still neutral about him, maybe because I love his fluff, or maybe it is not all as bad as it seems.
Mordikaar: I think (for now) he is the best skorne has to offer, although his feat has disappointed me in the few games I played with him. Very good spells.

Karax vs Preats, an unfair fight

Comparing to other factions is never really unambiguous. The have other casters, other support and other play styles. The whole point for me is that with the current rules I (and IMHO a lot of other people) will prefer the swordsmen of the karax for the same role. If you sum up their differences, I think the swordsmen will be more usable in the speed bump/low damage dealing unit. I have kept the UA out of consideration, because it will even help the swordsmen more, but a good speed bump should be cheap and adding it in, will make this post even longer.

Let's split that out. Which unit is the best speed-bump:
Swordsmen have one more speed, one more defense. Karax have shield wall and girded (no blash damage). The big problem with the Karax is, that they are slow, especially if you want them to shield wall. It is no good to have a speed bump unit which can not follow a dynamic playing style (static playing style is so mark 1 ). I also think that the point of defense is almost as good as the 4 points of armor, why? It is one point in the sweet spot of most MAT (5 to 8) which will reduce the chance of getting hit by 10% or more in most cases. While the increased ARM is only in the sweet spot of low pow attacks. To get the ARM attack they do not only have to sacrifice speed, but also have to be in base to base contact, which will make them a "smaller" speed bump. It is also more situational and I like my speed bump to be reliable. Speaking of situational, girded only comes in to play rarely. And swordsmen are not as vulnerable to blast damage as the karax because they tend to be spread out a little more.

Now concerning damage dealing:
Karax have a point of P+S more, reach, do not block line of sight for friends and ranked attack, but swordsmen have an extra attack and can combo to get more P+S. They also do one point of auto damage versus 'jacks and beasts. And a speed point of speed of course.

The swordsmen are again more maneuverable, although the karax have a slighly longer charge range (half an inch). But when they charge they leave shield wall and get softer. In the advance the Karax are also a little bit faster, but this is countered by the fact you probably want them to shield wall after the advance, because they have to end in base to base contact. Ranked attack will get you some extra attacks in sometimes, but the number of attacks will always be lower then the when using two attacks. Not blocking line of sight for friends can be useful, but you have to build your army to use it. The auto point of damage of 'jacks and beasts can be nice, to put some small dents in them while keeping them engaged and the combo-ing will allow you to hurt some harder targets. The extra point of P+S for the karax does not counter this, since it is more based on luck and is less flexible.

Conclusion:
The swordsmen win on both prime usages for the units and for an unit with the same costs it will result on them being on the table a lot more. The only place I can see for the karax is with units which can attack over them: e.g.: deploy venators behind it, but on that take you can also take another unit of venators instead, because they are not that much softer. Or maybe with the expensive arcuarri and leave them behind the karax, but those are still vulnerable to shooting attacks.

How I would to see them fixed?
Give the karax a little boost, so that they will win the speed bump department compared with the swordsmen (an extra point of ARM and/or DEF and/or SPD, or maybe something else, like immunity to KD, an UA which will help them staying alive, etc)

A review of the MK2 Warlocks Skorne (part 1, primal casters)

Ok, I did not post for a while, but that was because of mk1 burn-out. Now we have the fieldtest, I just want to share my insights.

Morghoul
The feat is a nice change, not spending focus in his control will make it possible to do a two turn assassination run, in combination with the brute's animus (no knockdown) he should be able to live through a turn in the front with his high defence. One fury when at a little cost, can be useful. Perfect Balance and Anatomical Precision stayed, the new striking back when missed is good. His weapons are still the same, hard to pull an assassination off against a full health warlock/warcaster, but at least always some damage. He still likes the Savage for the animus to help with combat.
From his tree spells he lost Unrelenting and gained Admonition, the new one might seem worse, but using it before getting damage might be a plus. Torment got a little tweaked, now it is all healing not only regeneration and it cannot transfer for a round instead of only the Torment damage, two improvements. Abuse stayed unchanged, which is a good thing.
He also has a lot of beast points, which is good.

Makeda:
She did not change very much. Models get killed under her feat do not provide souls anymore, this does not matter that much, because the Guardian now sucks and the Soulward does not need many souls. The new sidestep is nice, although it is only on initial attacks, but she has two of them which will mean 4" movement when done right, helping with her threat range.
Vivisection got replaced by Blood-Quenched, which is a change, getting the extra armor is nice when she is in the front lines, having to kill something for it is worse, lowering her damage output.
Carnage and the lash did not get changed. Savagery got reworded, so that it is slightly better. You can now use it on Ferox to first advance 16" and then jump 5. You can also use it on warcasters including herself. Defender's Ward is now always +2/+2 Arm/Def, this needs not explanation.

Hexeris:
He got hit by the NERFbat to hard, poor Hexeris, in his current form he will not get much play time by anyone besides masochistic people. His feat which I never liked because it does not work on undead/constructs/warjacks, and models under it always missed for me. Now also the distance models move under it is reduced to 3". His weapon and his ability did not change.
His spells are the source of much lament. Deathbringer got replaced by a weak 4" AOE for the 4 fury cost. Death march expires after one model does the attack. Soul Slave did not change, although it never has been a very special spell. Spirit Leach also got unchanged, but is now kind of redundant with the new damage spell. Suffering lost the -2Thr effect, but this is not as bad as it seems, because most beasts lost one or two threshold. The changes to frenzy makes this spell a little worse, because it now hard to use it damage other players models.

Masters of the Benelux, best painted!

A full report will come later. In short; After a tournament in which I played really bad (and ended 29 of 56), I was surprised I had the best painted army!

Slacking, yes I have been slacking

I don't know why (maybe it's mkII coming?), but have been slacking with the battle reports the last few weeks. So now is time to catch up.

The first game was a 750 against epic Magnus I played with my epic Morghoul list, with which I have been playing for weeks now to get ready for the Masters of the Belenux. We ran out of time, but I had killed a lot more then he had and I had not used my feat and everything was lined up for the assassination my next turn. So a solid win for me. Man, I like bloodrunners. (I forgot my drake & krea, so I had to proxy them with khador stuff)

The second game was a 350 lunch break game at the office against my co-worker Deacis. He had Lilith, I had Makeda. He screwed up his charges, but I over extended, used to much fury and got killed the turn after slaying two of his beasts.

Then I played against epic Kaya with a "fluffy" list with my 750 epic Morghoul list. I misjudged the charge range to Kaya, so screwed up my feat assassination turn, but I still managed to kill all his beasts. Morghoul got killed the turn after, because I had already given away to much in the rounds before.

Last tuesday I played my 500pts Masters of the Benelux Makeda list against a Borka-toss brick style list. My pincer was working nicely and he got frustrated and threw Borka behind my lines just for fun. Borka got killed by Makeda after being chewed on by a Krea.

The revenge of catzilla

Today I came home from work and the cat was nowhere, no problem, because he likes to hang out in his own room when no one is home. But after a few hours of no cat I was getting worried. He is my little buddy, so I went up to look for him, but he was not is his room. When I left the room I heard a little meow form the attic, my wargaming attic! So I sprinted up, released him from his prison and assessed the damage. He walked along my mini's standing around a little, tip over a lot of them, but one broke the back banner and threw one of my arcuari of the cabinet it was standing on, it landed on the floor 90cm below in 7 parts!

All kinds of memories came back, like when I got the arcuari they were the only Skorne infantry released (maybe the preats were also released, not sure). How much of a pain they were to put the flags on and paint, how much I liked them with Hexeris and deathmarch and how quickly I docked them when I got my unit of cetrati. I really hope they get a little cheaper in mkII.

And yes, the cat came out unharmed, slightly upset, he didnt even make a mess somewhere. He tends to get himself into trouble all the time. He got in yesterday like 20 times while I was doing my adminstration, which I also keep in that room, on the floor and walked over it all night. He left only 19 times. And now he is purring on my lap (and laptop) while I am trying to post this.

I have painted on my Skorne stuff for the first time in 3 weeks, after finishing Rorsh&Brine and WrongEye&Snappy. And I have to admit, I hate my colour scheme, not how it looks, but way it has to be painted. Arg! The boltgun metal is ok, just boring. But the gold edges and black-lining them is not painting but just paining. Am I glad I am getting close to getting Skorne complete so I can think about another faction or doing some more minions (and with washes this time).

Just had to blow of some steam. For the people who got all this way, a little reward ;). A picture of my painted Wrong Eye & Snapjaw.

Tournament Report Ducosim XVII (pictures heavy)

Last Saturday me and a buddy went to the local steamroller. 16 people showed up for 4 rounds of caster kills. I took two lists, one with Morghoul and one with Zaal. The Morghoul list was made to fight against Hordes, Zaal for fighting Warmachine.

My Zaal list; Front to back: Full unit of Ferox, Void spirit, Ancestral Guardian, min Karax, min Immortals, Zaal, Soulwarden and Canonneer. (click on the picture to get a bigger version)

My first battle I ended against one of the stronger players with his Circle of Orgoreos (Goreish Circle) with his Krueger list.

In short, his list was brutal (and a classic), he played brutal and he brutalized Morghoul. Well done! This nice chap ended up 3th of the tournament and also got the he most VPs award.

The next battle was against a nice guy who brought. Amon, 4 jacks and some solo's.

We closed in, danced around a little bit, he feated, destroyed most of my infantry with his sandstorms and Jacks. The turn after I feated, had a lot of counters and the remaining solo's and cavalry charged in and slaughtered everything except Amon and half his choir. The turns after my army mobbed up the rest and killed Amon.

Next battle was against a person I already know a little better Ahknas. He played his Caine list against my Zaal list. I did get a resonanced charge in on his knights, but mostly he just shot the hell out of me. Another of my better points was shooting a ghostsighted cannonball through a rock and into Aiyana and Holt. The game ended with Zaal death and him not having more then Caine and a few solo's.

My last battle was versus Legion, was getting tired, so forgot to take pictures.
He had Vayl, two Carnies, Seraph and full Knights. He was basically kicking my ass, killing most of my stuff, but luckily I managed to pull of the enraged-pigheaded-diversiontactics-Brine trick and killed Vayl because his Carnies could not be transferred to because of Morgs feat.

So I ended with two wins, two loses and a lot of VPs which put me at the 6th or 7th place, but best of all, I won the best painted award (hurray for me!) Close-ups will follow later, but here is a picture of my tray (click for a bigger picture):

Trying the lessers again: Morghoul vs Mardrak, 500pts Assassination

Played against our friendly (and lucky) local Trollbood player again in a battlebox caster battle.
He had: Mardrak, Mauler, Champions, min Longriders, Full Krielstone with UA, Fellcaller and Alten Ashley
I had: Morghoul, Cannoneer, Void Spirit, Soulward, Midwinter, Agonizer, Smoke gobbers, Rorsh&Brine and Wrong Eye&Snapjaw
Highlights:
Two champions charging through my lines and getting morgs to 5 hps (auch!)
Alten not hitting anything because Snapjaw was submerged, Brine behind a wall or in combat and the Cannoneer behind smoke.
Outcome:
In the turn he tought everything was over, he made two tough rolls (bummer). Mardrak killed the Cannoneer which tried to kill him and in my next control the frenzied Brine kills Morghoul in his back (auch).
Lessons learned:
I really have to study the Agonizer, I feel his power, but it hard to use the right one at the right moment.
Do not forget your feat.
Torment always misses when you need it.
Block your warlock
Orin can not handle 3 longriders by himself.

Morghoul vs Kraye, 500pts Assassination

My first battle after my vacation. I wanted to try my new minions, so sorry for the headless horde. (and this was the test for my vs Hordes list for the next tourney, I did not take my vs WM list, because my opponent did not feel playing vs the Kitties)
He had: Kraye, Ol' Rowdy, Black 13th, min Trenchers, Aiyana & Holt, GMCA, Journeyman, Squire
I had: Morghoul, Cannoneer, Void Spirit, Soulward, Midwinter, Agonizer, Smoke gobbers, Rorsh&Brine and Wrong Eye&Snapjaw
Highlights:
Him missing his earthquake attack off old Rowdy. ;)
Totaling it the turn after, with Brine, Snapjaw and Wrongeye.
I finally got voidy to work, a little bit, he killed one trencher.
Cannoneer with ghost sight is powerfull.
For him, killing the cannoneer with harm and shooting attacks
Outcome:
We had to end the game early because of time constraints, I won by a few VPs (7 vs 5 or something)
Lessons learned:
Putting abuse on minion beasts is fun, otherwise morgs vs Warmachine is silly.
Old Rowdy is dangerous.
Submerge is the bomb.
Afterwards: Brine can charge into the forest if he wants.

Back from la France

I am back from my very good and very long vacation in the sunny France with my girlfriend (yes guys, girls are more fun then lead miniatures ;)). I spend most of the time sightseeing, at the pool or doing nothing at all ;)

Now I am back in the Netherlands, there is a lot of the stuff with was far away when I left, is now close by. We have our quarterly local 20ish player tournament in 3 weeks and I haven't prepared in any way. The Masters of the Benelux is further away, but also needs a lot more preparation, because I just want to finish in a good position for that one. I am also looking forward to our weekly gaming nights.

I also got an email from my work that a package for me arrived, which I guess are my Rorsh and Brine.

Had a lot of fun on the vacation, but good to be back!

Packing mistake :s

Today the last of my Maelstrom order came in. Rorsh & Brine. I thought, till I opened the box and looked inside: (disclaimer: all pictures in the post are made with my blurry phone camera)

You can clearly see Wrong Eye in the bottom most shot in the big compartment of the package. And it is complete (both the gator and the gatormen), even the cards! But I want to try Rorsh&Brine with Morghoul, not these two swamp dwellers. The ironic thing is that it is packed with the right bases for the gators.

Makeda vs Grim Angus, 500pts Assassination

Played against the local trollblood player again, because other people prefered painting *sigh*. Well at least I had a chance to try my new toys before I head for France for a month (yeah baby!).
The underground is the mat-o-war thingy one of our group members bought, airbrushed on by another member. It looks better on the pictures then in real, trust me ;)
He had: Grim Angus, 2 Impalers, Champions, 5 krielstone dudes, 3 riders and Gudrun.
I had: Makeda, Karn, min Venators, min Immortals, 8 Swordsmen, Guardian, Void Spirit, and smoke Gobbers.
The start of the game
I deployed first bricking up in the center, no idea why I did this, but it did not work out to bad. He deployed his Champions and stonescribes at my left, his riders at the right and Angus with the with the Impalers in the center. His Gundrun deployed behind the building.

Halfway
Gundrun ran into combat and got himself killed, twice. The venators went left to threathen the Riders which went all the way over the flank, having a hard time doing something because of the sucky range.
The Champions, Immortals and Preatorians got stuck into a combat which got decided when the Guardian and Karn joined in.
Grim and the impalers shot some random people including the extoller. The Voidspirit got himself killed by the krielstone dudes.

The end of the game
Grim walked to close to get a pot shot on Makeda, which missed because she had cover, and Molik Karn walked to him and sliced him in small beefy parts of Angus.

Lessons learned
The Immortals are cool under Carnage with a loaded Guardian near.
Karn is the bad-ass new kid in the block.
Venators, I am not sure about, did not do that much.
The soulward is only the cheese master, when combined with the stuff he needs.
The voidspirit was wasted a bit versus this specific list, but might be a nice tool to play with.
I like Makeda ;)

Xerxis vs Borka, 500pts Assassination

Played our local Trollblood player, he used the list he took to a tournament a few days after which he won. This report is also on his blog (http://trollbloodsmarch.blogspot.com), so I won't go to deep into it. We took the pictures together with his camera. He had: Borka with Keggy, Mauler, Impaler, Champions, min Stonescribes, Fell Caller, Pendrake and Gndrun
I had: Xerxis, Cannoneer, min Karax, min Ferox, max Swordsmen with UA, Guardian and Midwinter
Highlights:
The Karax with a Cannonneer behind them are (almost) as though as Champions.
The Guardian never fails to shine.
The Ferox going around to attack the Impaler and hurt him only for 2 damage.
Outcome: He tossed Borka behind my lines, but Xerxis was waiting inside a ... waiting for him with two fury. Borka dented Xerxis a bit and the Guardian kill Borka before I could activate Xerxis. Lessons learned:
Xerxis is a though nut to crack, with his defenise troll like stats, starting to like mr X.

Makeda and Morghoul vs Mohsar and Epic Kaya, 1000pts Assassination

My first 1000 points ever, played it a little while ago, but forgot to post the battle report, I will try to do it a little bit different this time, let me know which approach you like better.

Circle deployment
From left to right: Pendrake, minimal wolves with attachment, war wolf, gnarlhorn, gorax, shadowhorn, epic Kaya, warpwolf, blackclad, woldwarden, woldwatcher, Laris, druids with overseer and Mohsar (proxied by a blackclad).

The Skorne Army
From back to front (my left to my right): Full unit of ferox, full cetrati with behind them drake, krea, Makeda, savage. A guardian, agonizer, Midwinter, Morghoul, full swordmen, with behind them savage, krea, drake, and ending my line an other guardian. Behind everthing a full unit of paingivers.

The beginning of the battle
Both armies consolidated their left fanks and advanced their right flank cautious, using the cover of smoke or forest.

The battle commences
The ferox take the forest, jumping straight into it. The right flank is locked, so the beasts on that flank sprint over to the action. The center moves in, defensively, on the ready horde of huge beasts.

In the heat of the battle
The fight now breaks out. The swordsmen waiting for their chance, sprint out of the cloud cover into the druids, with magical speed. The warpwolf, which got teleported into the line, slaying skorne, gets put down by the combined effort of the Cetrati, some beasts and an Ancestral Guardian. At the left the Ferox kill most of the the wolves of orboros and Laris and Kaya rush to the battle here, killing some of the Ferox. Skorne beasts rush in and kill her in return.

Nearing the end
From here circle is fighting a losing battle. After a little Mohsar decides surrendering is his best option.

Final thoughts
It was a fun battle, which I really enjoyed. I can not really remember most of the details, but two warcasters give you so much more options. It also is kind of hard to get your fury good with two casters.

Because I have this deal with my girlfriend, I cannot buy anything new when the old stuff is not finished I had to finish these bastards. I really hate the gold edges of the armor, and I did speed paint these, but they are done!

And I also did my second Guardian, which I did repose a little bit. The third one will have its halberd posed in the other direction, so they will be in "at guard" position.

So now all I have to do is epic Morgs, before the order comes in ;) which is now probably at some airport...

As you probably have guessed my main and only Faction is the mighty Skorne. I have been playing these bastards ever since the Arcuarii came out (which I fielded rarely since the Cetrati came out) and have most of prime and evolution painted. Slowly moving into the new cheese fields of Metamorphosis. I have been keeping this blog since the start of the year and managed to give all my battle at least a short battle rep. I am also keeping a W/D/L on my blog, which is kind of higher then I would expect, but that is mostly because my friends are nicer then me.

In the future I will try to keep up with my short battle reps, which I mostly make for myself, to keep track of what I did and what I fielded (and what I FU-ed). It might also get me motivated to finally do some more in depth articles about models I think I do understand and more painting stuff. But at the moment I am also trying to spend time with my sweet girl and trying to get outside as often as possible. Also I am recovering from this stupid condition I had at the end of the last year and my pet project, the MK2 army builder www.forwardkommander.com, is also eating some of my spare time.

Went to the LGS today to play against one of my regular opponents, sadly the store closed an hour earlier then we thought. Still had fun, although the game still was very undecided.
He had: Baldur, 2 Woldwardens, Woldwierd, Druids with UA and Gundrun
I had: Hexeris, Gladiator, Cannoneer, Full Swordsmen with UA, Agonizer, Catapult and Midwinter.
Highlights:
Midwinter keeping him from spellstriking and keeping baldur away.
Outcome:
Undecided, ran out of time, because we had an hour less then we thought.
Lessons learned:
I do kind of like my the badass-ness of Hexeris.
Diminish combined with Gnawing Pain is just evil.
Still nothing from the pult, maybe it just hates me.
Titans are though! Roar ;). Elephant family power!

Friendly game with our local nice Trollblood guy.
He had: Grissel, Mauler, two Axers, Champions, full Stone unit and a fell caller
I had: Zaal, Krea, Drake, Cyclopse, 6 karax, full swordsmen with UA, two Guardians.
Highlights:
For my first time ever, the Kovaas popped up. (but sadly did not activate because Grissel died before it could.
Two loaded guardians killing all the champion in one turn (with the help of Zaal's feat)
Outcome:
Grissel got stuck in between a lot of Skorne and got biten to death by a Krea (while the Drake was already death, that's a first ;))
Lessons learned:
Zaal sucks in combat, he is one of the few warcasters which can not handle a damaged light beast in one turn.
I am really starting to like Zaal, he is one of the swiss army knife casters and his feat turn can be lethal.
I like how I wrapped the 12 swordmen unit around his army and then came in from behind.

Last week I played against my regular circle opponent and now I finaly have the time to post this.
He had: Kaya, Warpwolf, Gorax, Argus, druids with UA, his full complement of stones, gobbers
I had: Hexeris, Gladiator, Cyclopse, 6 Karax, 5 Arcuari, min paingivers and the catapult.
Highlights:
Deathbringering the argus and killing a lot of stuff. Also put the must make treshhold spell on the Argus that turn (which it sadly did not fail).
Outcome:
I over extended myself and got Kaya assassinated
Lessons learned:
Do not overextend yourself (and now write it down 100 times ;))

I borrowed some cygnar of a friend and played against his menoth. Siege vs Reznik, first battle I got Reznik to one hp left and then Siege died, second battle he got Reznik to one hp left and then Siege died. It was 15 pts only jacks, but still great fun. And yes, mk2 is still warmachine, I even think not very much changed, some rules, some sucky models got better, some cheezy models got less cheezy. So overall it still has the same feeling and I still like it. I cannot wait to see what mk2 will do to my little skornes.

Epic Morghoul vs Mohsar, 750pts Assassination

My second 750 pts battles. This time I played against one of the two local Circle players, he used Mohsar proxied by the druids solo. I was really tired and did not play sharp (again...)
He had: Mohsar, Woldwarden, Woldwierd, Woldwatcher, Warpwolf, full gators, min bogtrogs, two sets of stones, gobbers, min grinders.
I had: Epic Morghoul, 2x Cyclopse, 2x Krea, 2x Drake, full Ferox, 6x Karax, Soulwarden (proxied with Zaal), Guardian and full paingivers.
Highlights:
Getting paralatic field over the gatormen and spirit lock on the woldwarden, in turn one, with one krea.
Not losing anything to the side-charging bogtrogs and killing them shortly after.
Finally using morgs feat and killing the warpwolf and locking most down except...
Outcome:
.. Mohsar which first zapps morgs and then kills him with his ranged attack (needing 13+ to hit, I think I lost my lucky streak there ;))
Lessons learned:
Even mister awsomesauce morghoul should not be placed out in the open.
Do not give away stuff to early in the game only to dent something of him (e.g. the Ferox).
The Karax did well again in minimum format, I might use them more like this.

Epic Morghoul vs Epic Kaya, 750pts Assassination

My first 750 points battle.
He had: Epic Kaya (with her puppy), Warpwolf, Warpwolf Alpha, Gorax, Argus, Druids with UA, Gobbers, 8 wolves with UA, 2x shifting stones and 2x guarding stone.
I had: Epic Morghoul, 2x Cyclopse, 2x Krea, 2x Drake, full Ferox, 6x Karax, Soulwarden (proxied with Zaal), Guardian and full paingivers.
Highlights:
I screwed up a lot of things, almost everything. Did not really get into the game and was to tired to play, but it was just fun to see what happens at 750 and try new stuff
Outcome:
His army cleared a path, Laris ran forward, Kaya ported in, started hacking and got morgs to 1hp! Lucky me, off course old chap could finnish her off next turn
Lessons learned:
Epic Morgs is kick ass, when you know what to do.
I also liked the soulward, but is fragile. I also like his little shooting-zap-thingy.
Karax did very well, even in the min formation. They can get shield wall to be though and charge and even do some damage.

Hexeris vs Grissel, 500pts assassination

I finally got around posting up this BR of last Tuesday against my regular Trollblood opponent. It was his first time trying Grissel, so he didnt feel really used to her.
He had: Grissel, mauler, two units of champions, full kreilstone (proxied because he forgot them), chonicler, sage and a fellcaller.
I had: Hexeris, gladiator, savage, guardian (proxied because I forgot him), full kitties and 5 paingivers.
Highlights:
Presienced deathbringer hitting 9 of the ten champions with P+S 14 (on titan) killing one of the and softening them up more.
Most deathmarch kittie attacks missing.
The catapult putting some hurt on grissel in turn 1 for a lucky scatter.
Him using his feat to soon.
Outcome:
The third deathbringer of the game on the mauler killed her.
Lessons learned:
Hexeris' feat is annoying, I could not use it all game because for some reason I like activating him last (as opposed to e.g.: Makeda)

Friendly game versus my local friendly legion player, Xerxis to play with some of my rarely used minies.
He had: Thargosh, Carni, Seraph, 2x Shredder, Warmongers (4), 2 Shepherds, Gobbers and a Chieftain.
I had: Xerxis, Cannoneer, 5 Arcuarii, 6 Cetrati, 2 Guardians and 6 Swordsmen
Highlights:
Killing some warmongers and the Chief on my feat charge with the Cetrati.
For him, relativily easy killing a lot of my medium based infantry.
Thargosh getting damaged by a warmonger with a beserk attack.
Outcome:
He left all his beasts full of fury, and the guardian could kill thargosh .
Lessons learned:
Deathshroud is a strong signature spell.
Cataphracts are less though without Makeda.

500 points friendly against my regular Circle enemy and one of my old-time friends. I have played Makeda vs Kaya against him a dozen of times. But now for something completely different...
He had: Kromac, Warpwolf Alpha, Gorax, Ravagers (4) + Shaman, Whitemane, 2 Sentry stones and 2 Shifting stones
I had: Morghoul, 2 Krea's, 2 Drakes, 2 Savages and full unit of Paingivers
Highlights:
Controlling the Warpwolf one turn by putting everything from a Drake and Krea on it.
Killing a Ravager ad the Shaman with a blast from a Drake with Prescience
The paingivers doing 2 enrages and killing some stumpies on turn and doing two heals and killing two stumpies the next.
For him, damaging most warbeasts bady and killing some, a lot would have died the next turn.
Outcome:
He left Kromac to close to a Krea and Drake. Spray, Abuse, Paralatic Field and two attacks later mr Kromac was death
Lessons learned:
Morghoul can be powerful... if you meet the right enemy.
Morghoul, Drake, Krea and Savage play well together.

Since I have not posted for a while because I dont get to play that much because I am tiered and easily annoyed because of this medical condition, here tada: on my workbench.

I enjoyed this game more then a lot of people think, I was only annoyed by the dice down because I wanted to finish this off.
He had: Mardrak, Dire Troll, Axer, Impaler, Champions, full Kreilstone, Storyteller and Smoke Gobbers
I had: Makeda, Krea, Drake, Guardian, full Cetrati, full Ferox, min Paingivers, Smokers.
Highlights:
Both armies were so though we getting nowhere.
For me finishing of his mauler and a lot of other stuff.
For him finishing of the kitties.
Outcome:
Dice down.
Lessons learned:
Stay cool.
I would have been better of flanking this brick and attacking it from a lot off different sides.

Last weekend me and three friends went to the Ducosim XC tournament. We had a great time. It was 4 rounds of Steamroller assassination madness. Of the 18 players I ended up 4th, only one VP below one of the friends for the best Hordes, but I got the best painted. It was the best result for our little group ever: second, third, fourth, thirteenth, best hordes and best painted. Sorcha won the tourny. Below are my four battles.

Ducosim XV. Makeda vs Reznik 500pts, assassination

Last Ducosim XV game. Against Reznik, I have been told, the winner of the last Duco.
He had: Reznik, Devout, Blessing of Vengeance, Redeemer, Choir, Warjack solo, Warcaster attachment, Full Idrians with UA
I had: Makeda, Krea, Drake, Guardian, full Cetrati, full Ferox, min Paingivers, Smokers.
Highlights:
The Ferox finishing off the Idrians, losing two from the counter charge, but scaring of the last 3. Two Ferox got killed, but I got them back from my feat.
Killing two warjacks in a Cetrati Charge.
Failing the Krea assassination, leaving Reznik with one wound.
For him, getting another turn with one wound to finnish of both the Krea and the Drake.
Outcome:
Makeda killing of Reznik with her damage spell (talking about style)
Lessons learned:
Could have done that assassination better if I had activated in the right order and stayed clear in my head. But I had been playing the entire day.

Highlights:
The Cetrati charging in, killing a lot of the Man-o-Wars.
The Ferox failing to their thing, unlucky dice rolls though warlock.
Makeda charging in the finnish the Butcher.
Outcome:
It ended in a dice down, at the moment I would throw my charge attack Dice.
Lessons learned:
You can also use your feat to soon...

First Ducosim XV game. Against a nice guy playing a fully painted Severius army
He had: Severius, Blessing of Vengeance, 2 Redeemers, Choir, Rhupert, full Zealots with Monolith bearer and 3 wracks

Highlights:
It was a fun, evenly matched game with two fully painted armies.
Killing named jacks is fun.
Outcome:
It ended in a dice down. I think he had one more Vp then I had.
Lessons learned:
Menoth will always be a though fight.
I lost monumentum because my Ferox got to deep in and I used my feat to soon.

He had: Kaya, Warpwolf, Gorax, Argus, Druids with UA, 2x shifting stones, 2x standing stone
I had: Makeda, Krea, Drake, Guardian, full Cetrati, full Ferox, min Paingivers, Smokers.
Highlights:
For him, the Warpwolf teleporting into my lines and slaying 2 Cetrati and 2 Ferox, with only 2 fury spend. Which both came back because of my feat.
My plan working again. Although he left an opening for me, not very smart.
Outcome:
Carnage and the Krea's animus over Kaya, only a few strikes from the guardian were enough to kill her.
Lessons learned:
I worked, play aggressive and wait for the opportunity...

Today I played a bad game, for the competion, my first one. It was a replay against our local legion player of a battle we played about a month ago.
I had: Makeda, Drake, Krea, Cetrati full, Ferox full, 4 Paingivers, Guardian, Smokers.
He had: Vayl, Carnivian, Teraph, Seraph, 3 Shredders, min Swordsmen, Forsaken.
Highlights:
Keeping it out so long (mostly luck), destroying all of his beasts. The other highlights were for him, destroying the Ferox and both off my beasts in my feat turn.
Outcome:
I was much to careless with Makeda, no beasts and two hitpoints, but I just wanted to stay on the offence.
Lessons learned:
Stay focused young padawan!

Severius with the Blessing, solo's, Idrians and Knights.
Kaya with living beasts, lots of stones and druids.
A Mardrak beast heavy brick.
Magnus, with two rocket jacks, a big one, some solo's and the Kayazy's
Vayls with a lot of beasts, a forsaken and some swords men.
I am looking forward, to some though fights with standard Makeda list and see how far I will come against these nice people.

I had: Zaal, Rhinodon, Krea, 8 Swordmen, 5 Paingivers, 4 Ferox and Guardian.
Highlights:
Rhinodon got killed easily by the Warpwolf, it got teleported back and the Argus then paralysed it, so it would do no harm on the frenzy it would get because of the Gorax animus on it.
The swordsmen holding one flank and most of his army and losing only half (not killing anything, but still)
Outcome:
(all using boosts from the Feat of Zaal)
The Krea put her animus on the standingstone next to Kaya, lowering her def.
Zaal did his AO spell on a druid in front of Kaya, damaging her, and clearing two Druids which were standing in the way.
The swordsmen charging on Kaya and doing a lot of damage.
One Ferox last-standing killed her, over his mates with reach and tall in the saddle.
Lessons learned:
I have played against this player against similar lists, so not much to learn about that.
It was not going that good for me, so I went all out, seeing what Zaal can do and I was surprised.
In the end all he lost was some manikins, two druids and Kaya.

Friendly at my place
He had: Searyn, Angel, Seraph, 4 Elk Knights, Forsaken, Gobbers and a single Shredder
I had: Zaal, Full swordsmen with UA, Full Cetrati, Krea, Savage, Guardian, Paingivers and Gobbers.
Highlights:
I did the lazer beam at a Searyn 19" away which was not hiding behind monsters.
Outcome:
Searyn got zapped.
Lessons learned:
It was funny to do once, but do not do this to often, it might lead to losing friends.

Ok, so I went to blood in the snow, there were 5 players. Although I only won one, drawn one and lost one, I won the tournament!
I had fun day, fun games, met some nice people and two thumbs up for the guy who only played two months and his Khador painted up.

Highlights:

Second battle Blood in the Snow was versus the press ganger because of the odd number of models.
He had: Harbinger, 2 units Exemplars, full Zealots + Monolith, Paladin, Rhupert and Senechal (not really sure)
I had: Makeda, Drake, Krea, Cetrati full, Ferox full, 4 Paingivers, Guardian and Gobbers.
Highlights:
Getting my ass kicked, really underestimating his list and speed.
Getting close to a last minute kill.
Outcome:
I got my ass whipped by far more experienced player with a strong list (which I never played before).
Lessons learned:

All the jacks were disabled, I hardly lost anything, so I won on Vps

Makeda vs Baldur 500pts, assassination

And have a new camera, enjoy the picutes, I also added some pictures to older articles.
I had: Makeda, Drake, Krea, Cetrati full, Ferox full, 4 Paingivers, Guardian and Gobbers.
He had: Baldur, Warpwolf, Woldwarden, Woldfloatingthingy, Shifting Stones, Sentry Stone, Gobbers and Druids.
Highlights:
Screwing up my first attack, by not having cast carnage before attacking Baldur with some kitty, so they did the shocking number of 0 damage (lucky they were under my feat).
I got nicely through the Baldur feat turn.
His Warpwolf first getting shifting-teleported in front of the Woldwarden, which tried to throw him towards Makeda and came way short. He did not get knocked down because of the get not knocked down spell of Baldur.
Outcome:
I had Baldur in a tight corner, after killing all his beasts, he concided.
Lessons learned:
Play aggressive, always play aggressive.

Hurray! The Ferox are done. I would like to show off the freehand on the banner and the complete painted unit, but still no camera-cable. I am planning on spending part of my 13th month on getting a Canon Powershot A1000 camera which is lot better then the old thing I have now and I will have a new cable ;)

So I am fully painted and ready for the Blood in the Snow tournament Sunday. Going with two palls. One playing Circle with most probable Kaya. The other with Cryx with his power Denega or something else, you never know. I got my cans of cheap-ass redbull like stuff, so I am all ready.

Makeda vs Vayl 500pts, assassination

Today I played a good game, made some pictures but can not get them of the camera because I lost the cable.
I had: Makeda, Drake, Krea, Cetrati full, Ferox full, 4 Paingivers, Guardian, Smokers.
He had: Vayl, Carnivian, Teraph, Seraph, 3 Shredders, min Swordsmen, Forsaken.
Highlights:
Having my brick of Cetrati not lose a single model, not even in my feat turn.
Losing my krea to a frenzied Carnivian which she spirit locked herself (the Carnivian died next turn to a combined assault).
The Ferox jumping over the Cetrati and finishing of most of his already damaged army.
Losing all but one Paingiver in my feat turn to get three back to cage the Forsaken.
A last turn gamble assassination attempt from the Seraph and swordsmen, which almost killed Makeda after some good rolls.
Outcome:
The Ferox surrounded Vayl and the first one killed her (she lost some health because of getting fury when the carni was locked) after she had lost most of her army.
Lessons learned:
When this army works, it works. I only lost the Paingivers, Gobbers and the two warbeasts.
Be careful for last turn assassinations.

Dragoons are confirmed for Meta! Yes, now lets hope we do get some utility solo, but finally the commander solo the most militaristic faction is missing.

Why I am looking forward to the Void Spirit

First of all voidy looks cool, second he is al spirit, with incorporeal, terror and all. He can move through stuff/terrain and can take out nasty solo's and teleport away, or at least threaten these solo's and scare them away. The -2 ARM aura is a lot better then most people think. He does not need to get powered up like the AG and is more effective in tournament settings. And you can field two.
He also has nice synergies with all most all warcaster:
* With Morghoul he can finally make the assassination more viable, by reducing the opponents MAT by two, will give you a lot more potential damage.
* With Makeda, running 12" through models and attacking, that should take care of the annoying stuff like pipers, etc. And your own troops are not scared of them.
* With Hexeris, no something I can think up quickly.
* With Xerxis, he can get two attacks and an extra dice on the charge (on feat turn).
* With Zaal, he can be nasty under last stand.
* With eMorghoul, although I do not own him, he can be fun on the feat turn and helping big M with the assassination.

Zaal vs Terminus 500pts, assassination

Last game I played (before Xmas)
I had (not sure): Zaal, Cannoneer, Agonizer, Ferox(4), Smoke Gobbers, Preatorian (9)+UA, Guardian, Midwinter
He had (not sure): Terminus, Tartarus, Full Bane Knights, Ghost Knights, 2 Pistol Wraiths
Highlights:
Losing one Ferox to free strikes because some bane knights moved into combat after Midwinter fried 3 of them.
Trying to do the Last Stand/Ferox assassination and failing because I did not last stand on the kitty attacks, combined with bad rolls and losing on to free strikes.
Zaal holding out on his own and slaying most of the bane knights in combat in multiple turns.
Outcome:
Lost in the end for losing to much resources to the failed assassination and over stretching to do so (and not really having and idea how Zaal works).
Lessons learned:
Be careful with bane knights, they might ruin you plan by engaging the units you need and you kill some.
Know how your stuff works.

Feeling bored = starting blog

Hi,
Having a hard time getting to sleep, because of this stupid medical condition I have. I decided, I felt like starting a blog about my Skorne army for the Hordes game made by Privateer Press. My English might not be perfect, but that's because I am from a small country called The Netherlands.

Lets tell me what I want to do with this blog, first I want to keep track of stuff, so I can see what I have done. I want to make at least a small post for each battle I fight and miniature I paint.

To keep track of stuff, I will first have to descibe my starting point. I have started Skorne in september 2006, with just the battle box and an unit of Arcuarii. Have been gathering them for some time, lets describe my collection, starting with the warcasters.

Morghoul: He came in the battle box, so he has been painted now for aged, I play him from time to time, because I like him. Mostly his overall fast, but fragile feel. And two of his three spells are quite good (Unrelenting and Abuse) and his feat kicks ass vs beast heavy horde armies. I do not play him a lot, because he sucks versus Warmachine and he and his army has a hard time handling terrain.

Makeda: My favorite warcaster, painted and slightly converted because I hated the silly backbanner. I have played her a lot and I think at the moment she is the best allround warcaster the Skorne have for me (with Zaal probably comming second). Savagery is very good, getting shieldwall units to run and still get their shieldwall, or having a krea run 12" and make 5 boosted attacks if a drake is near, or just put it on ferox to get them to attack something within 18". Carnage is good because it really helps your troops hitting stuff. Defenders ward is good on about every unit (specially Cetrati, Karax and Ferox). He feet works against every opponent, cause it effects you own army. Her defensive stats and hitpoints are good enough and when needed she can dish out om serious damage in combat.

Hexeris: He was my second caster and also painted for a long time. Used to play him more often when I just started, be he became a bit boring. Deathmarch, deathdealer and vampiric reaving are great fun but he is just not for me. Also I think his feat is a bit weak or situational at best.

Xerxis: My first evolution mini, finished painted a few months ago. I just am not impressed about this guy, also happered by terrain, his move of 5, low fury and his medium base bugger me. His feat is stronger then a lot of people think, but hard to pull of propperly.

Zaal: Starting to like him, but still not painted (kovass done 3 months ago). He has a lot of potential, which I did not see in the only game I played with him 2 weeks ago. The only AG I have did not get killed, so no Kovass. I screwed multiple times, because I did not come prepared, but I hope to give my opponent(s) a harder time next time.

Titan gladiator: Came in the battle box, painted for a long time played with him a lot in the old days. Good in combat, bad in getting there. The chain attack is where he shines, his animus helped me from time to time. Replaced this guy with a cannoneer or rhinodon, because I like those better.

Titan cannonneer: Painted for about a year. Like his ranged attack and animus, can do some damage in combat. Allowed me to get some reach with my armies. He is not played a lot lately, because I like the mediums better.

Rhinodon: Have him since he was released, painted half a year ago. He is good in what he does, killing stuff. His animus works good on himself and he is faster and better versus infantry then the gladiator. Played him a bunch of times, but I have been playing mediums mostly lately.

Krea: Got one when released and painted up rather quickly, got another one, which I finished about 4 months ago. The star of the Skorne show, she kicks ass. Good annoyance factor (aura, field and ranged attack) and can dash a lot of damage with a Drake short by. Fielded one in my armies since I got one, sometimes even two.

Drake: Got one with my first krea and one with my second, got the first one painted up, the other one in base coat. A girls best frield and his spray is nice at P+S 14. Just nice to have around with all this infantry around.

Savage: Got two in my battle box, one has been painted for a long time, the other one got primed a month ago. He is fast, good animus, mat and P+S for a medium, but I prefer to leave the damage dealing to infantry and solo's and use beasts for utility. Getting a beast at the front is getting it killed fast and they are needed for fury.

Arcuarii: Got them with the battle box (box+one blister), all painted. They are way overpriced, but can be fun to play. Have not used them for a long time.

Cetrati: Have them for about a year, took me ages to get them painted. Auto include (do I need to say more) specially with Makeda.

Swordsmen: Got them when they were called Preatorians. Finnished painted them about a year ago. Cheap, give souls and can put up a fight. They can even put up a better fight after I got my UA. Have been using them a lot, since I do not have any Karrax.

Paingivers: Have them about two years now, painted them fast. I used them more in the past, when I tended to play more beast heavy. They are good at what they do.

Ferox: Have them about half a year, they are now my priority painting target. Played only 3 games with them and like them. They are the only Skorne which can navigate terrain and even enemy troups and never fall over. Not to mention their fast speed.

Ancestral Guardian: Have one since it was released, painted it up and have used it in about every battle since. He can go a lot faster then people expect and fully loaded he can dish out a lot of damage. The downside of using him, is that is a late bloomer, which hurts him in combat. He is really good, so good I want at least one more.

Orin Midwinter: Have him for a few months. Tried him out some times, but is hard to use, but I see his strenghts.

Smoke Gobbers: My first minions, painted 18 months ago. Their are good value for their 15 points, and I use them when I have points left, or need the smoke.

Catapult: Got them for my last birthday, are still in the blister, although I really want to try them.

Agonizer: Have him for a year now and painted him not long after I got the little fellow. He is strong vs hordes, but hard to get loaded when you play with a few medium beasts, I have not used him that much.

Feralgeist: Have him and painted for about 9 months. Very powerfull, but again only versus Hordes. Taking over beasts, or giving your beasts a last breath is really nice. Have been using him a lot in my hordes vs hordes games, and he is recommendable.

So this is my Skorne in short, now I am going to try to get some sleep again.
