Karn, now in colour!

Yes! I got something painted. I really have to get myself a lightbox, so I can make better pictures. Got my motivation back for this game, enjoying it as much as before.

A full report will come later. In short; After a tournament in which I played really bad (and ended 29 of 56), I was surprised I had the best painted army!

And now I have to run to our weekly gaming night to prepare for the next tournament (750, two casters, only beasts and jacks), of which I am not even sure I am going to.

Ranting about more gold lines. And Wrong Eye & Snapjaw painted!

I have painted on my Skorne stuff for the first time in 3 weeks, after finishing Rorsh&Brine and WrongEye&Snappy. And I have to admit, I hate my colour scheme, not how it looks, but way it has to be painted. Arg! The boltgun metal is ok, just boring. But the gold edges and black-lining them is not painting but just paining. Am I glad I am getting close to getting Skorne complete so I can think about another faction or doing some more minions (and with washes this time).

Just had to blow of some steam. For the people who got all this way, a little reward ;). A picture of my painted Wrong Eye & Snapjaw.

Painted: Rorsh & Brine

I also played a 750 points game to my Trollblood friend. Epic Morgs kicked Epic Mardraks ass after most of his infantry was death, but I did not make any pictures and don't feel like making a report without any

We are skorne! Finally some painting done...

Because I have this deal with my girlfriend, I cannot buy anything new when the old stuff is not finished I had to finish these bastards. I really hate the gold edges of the armor, and I did speed paint these, but they are done!





And I also did my second Guardian, which I did repose a little bit. The third one will have its halberd posed in the other direction, so they will be in "at guard" position.


So now all I have to do is epic Morgs, before the order comes in ;) which is now probably at some airport...

Since I have not posted for a while because I dont get to play that much because I am tiered and easily annoyed because of this medical condition, here tada: on my workbench.

The box of Karax I bought cheap(ish), thanks to the new gameshop in Rotterdam!

The catapult I got for my birthday (thanks guys!), the guardian I won in the tourney 2 months ago (and finaly got in last Friday and reposed today) and the epic Morghoul I won for best painted, on a new "epic" base.

The soultokens I also got for best painted.

From the old box, Hexeris, my second caster, but I do not feel powerfull with him anymore, altough deathmarch and deathbringer are great. I have modified him a little bit, making his back banner worse ;).

Fully painted! for blood in the snow

Hurray! The Ferox are done. I would like to show off the freehand on the banner and the complete painted unit, but still no camera-cable. I am planning on spending part of my 13th month on getting a Canon Powershot A1000 camera which is lot better then the old thing I have now and I will have a new cable ;)

So I am fully painted and ready for the Blood in the Snow tournament Sunday. Going with two palls. One playing Circle with most probable Kaya. The other with Cryx with his power Denega or something else, you never know. I got my cans of cheap-ass redbull like stuff, so I am all ready.
